Restocking and Rethinking

After the recent shows I really need to pull out some new ideas and create some very different items. I had a few that I may revisit - meaning I'll slightly redesign and make a different version. The last Boro Art Crawl went well - my best so far.
With it being in October I did several cute drawings for any little artists to color if they came by. I had several very sweet kids that enjoyed my little monsters and the girl's favorite the ballerina. I was tickled to see that they still make the big box of Crayolas with the sharper in the back. A much coveted item in my childhood.
I was set up this time in Simply Pure Sweets and man was it hard to not try it all.  I wasn't good, but not real bad either.  I took a few paintings and a little bit of jewelry.  The paintings got very nice comments and some of the jewelry went to new homes

I posted this on Facebook a few days prior the crawl and it sold.  It's nice to get that message how much? I want it! I took it to the crawl…

Fall Festivals Done - Now what's next?

I was wondering this year if I was getting too old for this, but that will be forgotten by next year and I'll do it again I'm sure. I have good support. My friend Becky comes and will stay all day with me, what a trooper she is. We are a good team. She knows about beads, jewelry and is good at talking to customers. Angel and Ian came by and helped set up my first show. He's a pretty good helper I must say. My sister in law Kayren helped me set up the tent and tables at show 2 on one of the hottest days. She likes heat as much as I do. We were a sad pair. Then at the end of the show Jack comes and helps take down the tent and pack the car back up.…
