The big quilt I've been working on is finally ready for the binding. I pulled my sewing cabinet out so I could open up the flap on the back and get some working room. This will be my big project for next week. I'm almost there Becky!
Jack and I went to the crafts fair this weekend and he got me this wonderful pig. He's a photo that has been transferred to wood and the method she used causes the cracks and slight distressed look. She also had one the same size of an old camera I got that one for my sister. http://joanschulte.com/521745/flea-market-finds/
I have started a very minor update in the master bath. The vanity cabinets were not making me happy so I have been wanting to paint them since I moved in and now I've started.
They are getting a pretty base coat of ivory chalk paint. I'm going to accented with a light green called celery. I'll then sand and put on a glaze. Going for the shabby chic look
Was at JoAnns a few weeks ago and my dear friend Amanda who is the manager showed me a new Tim Holtz fabric that is for quilt backing so it's wide - this will be my shower curtain. All I've had since I moved was the liner. I just couldn't find one I liked so I'm making it. This is the fabric.
The postal stamps are about 7" across.
I put my entry form for the Mall Crawl in the mail today.
Here is what I decided to enter.
If I'm lucky enough to sell I'll have to replace the
octopus in the guest bath which my nephew Ian calls "his bathroom".
