So Simple - So Cleaver

I've wanted a design wall for ages and just couldn't figure out how to make room for it. Most of the ones I'd seen in quilt shops were based on wood and would be heavy and hard to deal with. My friend Stefanie came up with a super clever idea for a design wall. It's even portable! She has a tutorial on her blog of how to make this and I'm for sure going to make one here very soon. I took a look. It looks kind of small for the stuff I do, but I like the portable aspect. I use a big sheet of that pink insulation that you can buy at Home Depot or Lowe's. That can also be covered with felt or a canvas. I like to work big and one board is usually enough. I keep it in my garage when I don't need it.
